Seagate Technology reaffirms itself as a world class leader in the manufacture of hard drives by investing heavily in a plant located in Springtown, Londonderry. This plant will be the main global manufacturing facility and a key development for read-write heads for computer hard drives.

Naturally with such a huge investment, Seagate needed a fire system that would match its innovation and advanced level of technology. Ampac’s FireFinder was selected. There are five (5) networked FireFinder fire alarm control panels all integrated and monitored via SmartGraphics – Ampac’s superior graphical interface system.

System was installed by Chubb Northern Ireland.
