MAS Hangar, Kuala Lumpur
Malaysian Airline System (MAS) Hangars 2 & 3 are each protected by Ampac FireFinder Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP’s). The 2 hangars in which MAS service their aircrafts, are fitted with a combination of XP95 flame, smoke and heat detection.
The Ampac FireFinder outputs are programmed to operate with “double knock” logic which in turn controls a foam deluge system.
