High Sensitivity Detection

Thank you for selecting Ampac’s range of High Sensitivity Detectors. Ampac has a wide range of detectors and ancillary products to meet most of your design criteria.

FastSense

Included in Ampac extensive range of products is the FastSense High Sensitivity Detector. An aspirating detector using a laser based system, the FastSense provides the earliest warning to incipient fires with sensitivity from as low as 0.03%.

FastSense incorporate patented artificial intelligence software “Classifire? that continually monitors the quality of the air and adjusts the sensitivity of the detector. This “Relative Sensitivity? feature means that the detector will always operate at optimum sensitivity whilst reducing unwanted alarms.

The detectors can be networked and interfaces seamlessly to the Ampac FireFinder FACP.

A variety of options and fittings are also available.

There are 3 type of detectors in the range:

  • FastSense PLUS
    maximum sampling pipe length capable of up to 200metres
  • FastSense 100
    maximum sampling pipe length capable of up to 100metres
  • FastSense 25
    maximum sampling pipe length capable of up to 50metres
