AHD-06 Addressable Heat Detector

Ampac has designed the new AHD-06 Indicating Sealed Addressable Heat Detector specifically to meet the requirements of NZS4512:2003

FEATURES

• The detector adopts XP95 protocol and is compatible with FireFinder™ Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP)

• Utilises a re-setting thermostat element for the thermal sensing: When the ambient temperature reaches the chosen setting the detector will go into alarm, the FACP detects this condition and the associated zone will go into alarm

• There is a choice of two temperature options, being available in both 57°C and 77°C versions

• Temperature setting of the detectors are clearly identifiable by coloured dots on the external housing; with blue indicating 57°C and yellow, 77°C

• An on board DIP switch facilitates the detector address setting which are available from 1 to 126

• The new detectors feature test points for measuring loop voltage

The detectors are designed with an emphasis on quality and reliability, they are aesthetically pleasing and adopt a look and feel similar to the Orbis range of conventional detectors
