Barrack Square is the home of one of the world’s largest musical instruments, the Swan Bells. This structure is Western Australia’s millennium project.

Designed as a centrepiece for the City of Perth the 82.5 metre tower housing the bells is located within Barrack Square, a popular tourist precinct which also features artwork, gardens and water features. The tower’s viewing platform provides superb views of the river and city, there are also galleries from which to view the bell ringers, and fascinating displays on the history of the bells.
