High Level Interface Expander

The High Level Interface Expander provides the ability for the FireFinder Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP’s) to support a range of high level interface options.

* Typical applications where the HLI Expander is used are:

- Building Management

- Paging system

- Nurse Call Systems

- EV3000

- SmartGraphics

- MODBUS

• The physical interface between the FACP and equipment can be RS232 or RS485

• The FireFinder Series II FACP can support up to three HLI Expanders, with each HLI Expander configured for a different interface type

• The HLI Expander is addressable via the on board DIP switch

• The HLI Expander is fitted with a Power indicator and a FACP Link Active indicator to indicate that the HLI expander has received and acknowledged data from the FACP

• The HLI Expander is configured using the ConfigManager Tool for FireFinder Series II
