Fireray 5000 Beam Detectors

The FIRERAY 5000 Beam system is the first of a new family of auto aligning infrared optical beam smoke detector products and accessories.

The FIRERAY 5000 Optical Beam Smoke Detectors can be used to provide wide area smoke detection where the use of traditional detection technologies would prove to be impractical, difficult, costly or inappropriate to install.

  • The FIRERAY 5000 combines an infrared transmitter and receiver in the same unit and operates by projecting a well defined beam to a reflective prism, which returns the beam to the receiver for analysis.
  • The system operating range is from 8m – 100m and is fully compliant with AS7240-12 and EN54-12.
  • Easy to install with the integrated laser to align the optical path of the beam and the autoOptimise beam alignment system that steers the beam into optimum position.
  • The FIRERAY 5000 can be installed with up to four detector heads per system.
  • Addressable option available by using the Ampac Loop Powered Zone Monitor (4210-0004).
  • The system can be fully customised, through the setting of alarm thresholds (sensitivity), setting of time to alarm/fault and the integrated accessory mount to allow for the use of a variety of fittings.
